CHICAGO, IL – This past week, Governor JB Pritzker signed legislation to ensure Illinoisans maintain access to affordable medication, strengthened protections for domestic violence survivors, and supported rideshare drivers’ legal protections to unionize. The state also took key steps to maintain high-quality, safe water standards in the face of environmental rollbacks by the Trump administration. Meanwhile, Darren Bailey and Aaron Del Mar once again showed Illinois women that they cannot be trusted to protect their reproductive rights, with Del Mar proclaiming that abortion is a “sin against God.”
