Gov. J.B. Pritzker alongside lawmakers celebrated Friday the construction of a $23 million dollar Vantive American headquarters in Illinois.

Gov. JB Pritzker vowed Tuesday that Illinois will remain a “stable” trading partner with nations around the world, despite President Donald Trump’s imposition of tariffs that have disrupted global markets.

Pritzker said his delegation heard from manufacturing companies deemed key players in the energy supply chain that are interested in bringing production facilities to Illinois.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat who is one of the strongest voices against Donald Trump, stood up for LGBTQ+ and particularly transgender people in a fiery speech Saturday at the Human Rights Campaign’s Los Angeles dinner.

Pritzker lashed out at the president and his supporters, whom he called “bootlickers” and “DOGE-bags,” a reference to the Trump’s unofficial Department of Government Efficiency, led by billionaire Elon Musk.

In his State of the State address, Gov. JB Pritzker, D-Ill., warned against authoritarianism, saying “it took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours, and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic” and asked Illinoisans to “gather your justice and your humanity.”

IBM’s decision is a huge win for Gov. JB Pritzker, who has for years sought to make Illinois a global leader in quantum computing and innovation.

“We can’t wait around and be reactive when the latest attacks come, the pro-choice majority in this country need to be proactive,” Pritzker said.
