Despite claiming to turn over a new leaf on the campaign trail, Bailey is and has always been a proud Trump loyalist. As Illinois families pay $3,325 for Trump’s irresponsible trade wars, Bailey defends the wars, calling them “short-term pain for long-term gain.” Bailey also supports Trump’s war of choice in Iran that has skyrocketed gas and diesel prices for Illinois farmers and families.
By claiming the January 6 insurrection was a “farce,” promoting election fraud conspiracy theories, and vowing to “roll the red carpet out” for Trump, Bailey has shown that there is no line he will not cross to defend the MAGA agenda. In September, Bailey’s devotion earned Trump’s endorsement, who said, “I’m all for Bailey.”
