SPRINGFIELD, IL — Today, Governor JB Pritzker and lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Christian Mitchell delivered remarks celebrating Governor’s Day at the Illinois State Fair. Gov. Pritzker also spoke at the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association 2026 County Chairs’ Brunch, highlighting how Illinois Democrats are fighting against Trump and pushing forward progress in the state.
“Working families are counting on us, Illinois Democrats, to keep delivering what we’ve been delivering: more money in people’s pockets, more protection from corporate greed, and an unquestioned defense of our most fundamental freedoms,” said Governor JB Pritzker.
