Governor JB Pritzker Delivers for IL Farmers, Protects State’s Agriculture Industry
CHICAGO, IL – Today, JB For Governor released a new TV ad called “Furthest Thing,” highlighting Governor Pritzker’s commitment to protecting Illinois farmers and the state’s agriculture industry as Donald Trump’s illegal war and disastrous trade policies skyrocket costs.
The 30-second ad features Gov. Pritzker with Illinois farmers outlining how he’s standing up for them and their livelihoods by increasing access to new markets and developing new trade deals.
While Donald Trump betrays Illinois farmers by destroying their markets and raising fuel and fertilizer costs, Gov. Pritzker’s ensuring farmers and working families across the state get the relief they deserve.
The ads will air on Illinois broadcast and cable television markets downstate, as well as on digital platforms.
30-Second Ad Transcript:
GOV. JB PRITZKER: In Argentina, they’re selling soybeans Illinois farmers used to sell.
Because Donald Trump’s tariffs destroyed our market.
What’s worse…
Trump bailed them out with $20 billion.
And started a war that’s jacked up the cost of fuel and fertilizer.
It’s the furthest thing from making America great.
So, here in Illinois, we’re fighting back.
Helping farmers access new markets.
And signing trade deals to protect our industry.
We know what makes Illinois great, and we’ll always have their back.
