WATCH: JB Highlights Priorities for Illinois Families While Other Candidates Flail in First Debate

Chicago, IL – At last night’s debate, JB Pritzker made the choice clear in the Democratic primary for governor. JB highlighted his priorities for lifting up Illinois families and spoke about his real plans to move Illinois forward. While other candidates flailed as they were held accountable for their records that don’t match their rhetoric, JB presented himself as the only candidate ready to take on Bruce Rauner in November.

JB highlighted his real plans to expand quality, affordable healthcare for Illinois’ working families, ensure a strong return on investment for all Illinois communities if Amazon HQ2 comes to the state, and invest in Illinois communities that have suffered from decades of disinvestment.

WATCH:

JB also held his opponents accountable, blasting Biss for his hypocrisy on Mike Madigan. Biss was the only candidate on stage who voted for Mike Madigan to be Speaker and ran his Super PAC. JB also pointed out Biss’ effort to undermine pensions for Illinois’ working families.

And while JB praised Chris Kennedy for his family’s work on the Special Olympics, Kennedy refused to name one positive thing about JB. Kennedy would rather praise the Worst Republican Governor in America and parrot his desperate talking points.
