JB Pritzker has spent more than a decade creating thousands of jobs throughout Illinois, including in 2004 when he helped create the Midwest Venture Summit. JB has played a critical role in making Chicago one of the top tech hubs in the world. JB was named co-chair of ChicagoNEXT, a council aimed at creating tech jobs in 2012, and that same year he founded 1871, which has helped create over 7,000 jobs in Illinois. In 2014, JB spearheaded the first Chicago Venture Summit, aiming to connect venture capitalists with Chicago’s promising tech startups.
