Bailey Doubles Down on Claim That Humans and Dinosaurs Walked the Earth at the Same Time
SPRINGFIELD, IL — Today, as attendees entered the Republican Day festivities, they were greeted by a group of Dinosaurs Against Darren, reminding Illinoisans that Bailey founded a school that teaches children that dinosaurs walked the earth alongside humans. The dinosaurs gathered to protest the Bailey campaign’s lies about their history.
On WGN’s The Point, Bailey doubled down on the lies spread at the school he founded. When pressed about whether dinosaurs and humans walked the Earth at the same time, he replied, “were you there?”
Bailey’s school curriculum also teaches that “the majority of slaveholders treated their slaves well,” “gay people have no more claims to special rights than child molesters and rapists,” and “women in the workforce had been harmful to America.”
