CHICAGO, IL – Today, on the fourth anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Darren Bailey called attacks on abortion rights a “made-up culture war.”
In response, campaign spokesperson Alex Gough released the following statement:
“Darren Bailey is an anti-choice extremist who opposes abortion in cases of rape or incest and compared abortion to the Holocaust. It should surprise no one that today, on the fourth anniversary of the Dobbs decision, he called stripping rights from millions of women a ‘made-up culture war.’ He has shown time and time again that he cannot be trusted to stand up for women in Illinois.”
