CHICAGO, IL — Today, JB for Governor released a new ad titled “Promise,” calling out Darren Bailey’s vow to “roll the red carpet out” for Donald Trump and his extreme MAGA agenda.
The 30-second ad shows Darren Bailey’s support for Trump’s failing economic policies, including his trade wars, Iran war, and healthcare cuts burdening Illinois families with costly bills and stripping away their vital coverage.
Darren Bailey’s record shows he’ll always put Donald Trump first and Illinois families last. Bailey repeatedly described Trump’s tariffs as “short-term pain for a long-term gain,” despite the fact that the average Illinois family is paying more than $3,325 per year as a result. Bailey voted against raising the minimum wage and voted for raising property taxes thirteen times.
Illinois deserves a governor who fights for them – Darren Bailey is a MAGA extremist who cheers on Trump’s assault on working families.
The ad will air on broadcast and digital platforms downstate.
