SPRINGFIELD, IL — Today, Governor JB Pritzker attended the Democratic Party of Illinois’ Weekend of Action and canvass launch event for State Senator Doris Turner in Springfield to thank volunteers and rally voters ahead of Election Day. Gov. Pritzker was joined by U.S Senator Dick Durbin, U.S. Representative Nikki Budzinski, and Sangamon County Democrats Chair Diana Carlile.
“Senator Doris Turner has been a true force for change in Illinois,” said Governor JB Pritzker. “She has fought for farmers, helped expand healthcare access, and boosted education funding. It is crucial that we send her back to the state senate so that she can continue this fight for working families in our state.”
