Gov. Pritzker and Lieutenant Governor candidate Christian Mitchell attend river dyeing and mass, march in parade
CHICAGO – On Saturday, March 14, Governor JB Pritzker and Lieutenant Governor candidate Christian Mitchell marched in Chicago’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade alongside supporters.
Earlier in the day, Gov. Pritzker and Christian attended the annual green dyeing of the Chicago River and mass at Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
“No city celebrates St. Patrick’s Day like Chicago,” said Gov. Pritzker. “Every year, this parade brings families and friends together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and our city’s Irish heritage. Wishing everyone the luck of the Irish, and a safe, happy holiday.”
“It’s an honor to walk alongside Governor Pritzker in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade,” said Lieutenant Governor candidate Christian Mitchell. “St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago is one of the best weekends of the year, and I’m excited to be part of the festivities.”
