CHICAGO, IL — Today, Governor JB Pritzker and lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Christian Mitchell were endorsed by Sierra Club Political Action Committee (PAC). The Sierra Club is one of the largest grassroots environmental organizations in the United States, and its PAC works every day to elect environmental champions who advocate for clean energy and empower preservation efforts to protect our environment, wildlife, and natural resources.
This endorsement reflects Gov. Pritzker and Mitchell’s commitment to fighting climate change and doing Illinois’ part in building a cleaner and more sustainable world.

- Signed legislation to safeguard environmental protections amid Donald Trump’s rollbacks
- Signed Illinois onto the U.S. Climate Alliance and its climate goals following Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement
