CHICAGO, IL – New reporting reveals that Donald Trump’s ballroom costs as much as $600 million, with more than half estimated to come from taxpayers. As Donald Trump shakes down Illinoisans to fund a vanity project that he claimed would be paid for by private donors, Darren Bailey remains silent.
This is nothing new. From applauding Trump’s illegal tariffs to dodging questions on if he supports Trump’s war in Iran, Darren Bailey has repeatedly refused to denounce Trump – even as he robs taxpayers blind.
As Illinois families pay the price, they deserve to know where Darren Bailey stands on Trump’s plans for his taxpayer-funded ballroom.

“Trump is taking money out of the pockets of Illinois families to fund his expensive and highly unpopular ballroom, and Darren Bailey, yet again, has nothing to say. He refuses to even acknowledge the taxpayer-funded vanity project, let alone call out Trump’s brazen corruption.
