Chicago, IL – After a pair of state audits revealed Bruce Rauner has failed to recoup $76 million in overpayments to private insurers, JB Pritzker released the following statement:

“While costs skyrocket for his secret Medicaid overhaul, Bruce Rauner is negligent in recouping tens of millions of dollars in overpayments to insurers,” said JB Pritzker. “This fiscally-irresponsible, failed governor proves his inability to run state government on a daily basis. Incredible sums of taxpayer dollars are falling through the cracks, and there’s no one in charge to stand up for hardworking Illinoisans. We must defeat Bruce Rauner in November so our government can start working for the people again.”
