Chicago, IL – After Senate Republicans said they would alter their tax bill to include a repeal of Obamacare’s individual mandate, JB Pritzker released the following statement.

“By tacking on a provision that jeopardizes healthcare across the country, Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans found the one way they could make their tax plan more devastating for working families,” said JB Pritzker. “No matter how destructive, unpopular, and how many times they lose, Republicans refuse to rest in their attempts to dismantle healthcare. Unfortunately for them, we will not rest either. I will always fight to protect healthcare for Illinois families and unlike Bruce Rauner, I will stand up to Donald Trump’s attacks every day in Springfield.”
