Quincy, IL – Today, JB Pritzker met with workers and a bipartisan committee to discuss Bruce Rauner’s fatal mismanagement of the Quincy Veterans’ Home.

“Today, I met with leaders in Quincy to discuss the Legionnaires’ crisis, and I’m appalled by the callous disregard Bruce Rauner has shown our heroes and their families,” said JB Pritzker. “The obligation we have to our Veterans and their families is sacred, but they’ve been treated with gross negligence by a governor who chooses not to be in charge of this state. We need to take immediate action to get the families who lost loved ones the answers they deserve from this failed governor. This is an unconscionable moral failing at the highest level of our state government, and we must demand accountability from those who are responsible.”
