JB Pritzker and Juliana Stratton March in Springfield Twilight Parade

Springfield, IL — Today, JB Pritzker and his running mate, State Representative Juliana Stratton, marched in the Illinois State Fair’s annual kickoff event, the Twilight Parade.

The parade comes during a momentous week for JB Pritzker, who yesterday unveiled his plan to expand access to early childhood education, and today announced Juliana Stratton as his running mate for lieutenant governor. Representative Stratton has been a fighter for Illinois working families her entire career and a fierce voice standing up to Bruce Rauner in Springfield. She brings to the ticket a passion for criminal justice reform, and a lifelong commitment to public service.

“I’m honored to be marching in the Twilight Parade today with my newly announced running mate, Representative Juliana Stratton,” said JB Pritzker. “I couldn’t be happier to have her as my partner as we take on Bruce Rauner in this campaign and fight for working families here in Springfield and across the state. Together, we will get Illinois back on track after Bruce Rauner’s failed leadership.”
