Chicago, IL — Today, JB Pritzker hosted a grassroots phone bank at the campaign’s south side office to resist TrumpCare and call on Bruce Rauner to take action. JB and volunteers called Bruce Rauner and members of the Illinois Congressional delegation to encourage them to stand up for the millions of Illinoisans who could lose their health care if the bill passes. Volunteers also called Illinoisans across the state to mobilize them to reach out to Rauner and their representatives and voice opposition to TrumpCare.

“Today, I stood with passionate Illinoisans who are ready to resist TrumpCare and hold Bruce Rauner accountable,” said JB Pritzker. “This legislation could devastate millions of working families, women, and seniors and together, we are standing firm against the bill. But Bruce Rauner refuses to stand with Illinoisans. Rauner is silent as the health care of the people he is supposed to represent is under assault. The governor could be one of our strongest voices in this fight, but Rauner is failing to protect working families and stand up to Donald Trump. We will keep holding Rauner accountable until he takes action.”
