JB Pritzker Holds Rauner Accountable While Dan Biss and Chris Kennedy Fight for Second Place

Wednesday, March 14, 2018

Chicago, IL – In the final Democratic debate tonight in Chicago, Chris Kennedy was focused on proving Dan Biss was a bad Democrat as the two contenders desperately fought for second place. While they argued over one another, JB Pritzker focused on defeating Bruce Rauner in November and highlighted his plans to put Springfield back on the side of working families by investing in education, creating good-paying jobs, and expanding high-quality healthcare for Illinois families.

“Illinoisans watching this final debate saw why JB Pritzker is the only candidate who can hold Bruce Rauner accountable in November,” said Pritzker campaign manager Anne Caprara. “While Dan Biss and Chris Kennedy attacked each other in a desperate struggle for second place, JB highlighted the damage Rauner has done to Illinois’ working families. With less than a week left in the primary, it’s time for Democrats to come together to elect a leader who can take on Bruce Rauner and move our state forward. JB is the only candidate with the leadership and the vision to get this state back on track.”
