Chicago, IL – At a press conference yesterday, Chris Kennedy reiterated that he’s open to taxing retirement income.

After a reporter asked if he supports taxing retirement income, Kennedy said, “If we had a progressive income tax, which we don’t, and I don’t know what those rates would be, but I think if we means tested it, we can look at that.”

“No amount of desperate political attacks will distract voters from the fact that Chris Kennedy is willing to tax their retirement incomes,“ said Pritzker campaign spokeswoman Jordan Abudayyeh. “Kennedy is closing out his flailing campaign by lying to voters on the issues that really matter.”
