Chicago, IL – Today, the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 308 Political Committee endorsed JB Pritzker for governor at a meet and greet in Chicago. At the event, JB highlighted his plans to fight for workers’ rights, defend pensions, and defeat Bruce Rauner in November. ATU Local 308 joins U.S. Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth, the Illinois AFL-CIO, the IEA, the IFT, and over 30 individual unions in their support for JB for governor.

“I am so honored to receive the endorsement of ATU Local 308 and the working families it represents,” said JB Pritzker. “In the final weeks of this election, I know ATU Local 308 will play a critical role in helping build our statewide, grassroots campaign to move Illinois forward. Together, and with the support of working families across Illinois, we can beat Bruce Rauner and protect workers’ rights in our state.”

“ATU Local 308 Political Committee is proud to endorse JB Pritzker for governor,” said ATU Local 308 President Ken Franklin. “JB has real plans to put Springfield back on the side of working families and end the all-out assault Bruce Rauner has launched on workers’ rights. With JB in Springfield, I know workers will always have a seat at the table and a staunch advocate in the state capitol. We look forward to getting out the vote for JB Pritzker at a critical time in this race.”
